Well, do you mean what you say? Does safety have anything to do with it? Why is it okay for Indian and Pakistani expat doctors to work in Western hospitals for $$$, while they are needed more in Pakistan, India, etc? Does either safety or need have anything to do with a person sacrificing his time and money for a cause with no apparent reward for this effort? Is not the latter impressive on it’s own accord, unless of course you’re either racist (screw dem Ah-rabs, they don’t deserve our help) or ideologically aligned (Assad good, rebels evil)?
