any news on him today?
latest news is he hasnt been found and his father returned to the UK a few days ago although apparently the pakistani authorities wanted him to stay there. i hope they find the poor little boy, inshallah.

I'm sorry but I just find it very hard to adjust the fact tht both mother and father are now in the UK. while tht lil boy is still missing. fine they cant do anything there but at least when he is found there will be there for him. just the feeling of being nearer to him comforts the heart no? but to be honest this family sounds a lil to iffy for my liking anyway

I agree with you both Mehnaz and CE .. there is something very very fishy about this man …

news today is that he’s been found and is safe and well.
…we have a friend who is friends of this family and they told us a day or two ago, the reason this boy was kidnapped was that his father who returned home to the UK last week, despite being advised the police their to assist them in finding him, is that he is a drug dealer and apparently he owes people here well in excess of the 100,000 the kidnappers asked. The guys a fraud and a drug peddler.

Whenever his parents were interviewed on TV I picked up bad vibes from the both of them especially the dad…things just didn’t add up.

the drugs bit is very very unlikely to be true, because if he was a drug dealer then he'd have his wife kaboo, from what i know she wasnt. infact judging by their faces alone, i think she was bullying him

The whole story seems very dogdy, how the hell could that Charsi looking abba just leave the little boy behind not knowing what conditions he is living in and return to UK, He seems to be highly involved in all tht
it is unfortunate how quickly ppl jump to conclusions and make accusations. we just like to believe the worst of our own. the whole story came out today. Mushtaq Minhas laid it all out in today's Bolta Pakistan.
the boy was kidnapped by a kidnapping ring. the kidnappers demanded that the father travel to the UK to pay them. the UK govt asked for the father to be allowed to go the UK and the Pak govt hesitantly let him go. once in UK, the kidnappers told the father to go to France because they didn't feel safe in the UK. so, the ransom was paid in France. once the boy was released safely, the kidnappers were caught because the currency notes they'd been given were bugged. one of the kidnappers was a Romanian woman. there were a couple of men caught in Pakistan. one ran off to Pakthunkhwa. there was also a Pakistani police officer who on Shahbaz Sharif's request was involved in the case and according to Mushtaq, Pak police had cracked the case but just like the French were told to hold off by the UK govt to ensure that the boy's safety was not compromised.
so, no the father wasn't behind the kidnapping of his own son for money, drugs, etc.
well done to the Pak police in this case. now wish all kidnapping cases are solved with this kind of urgency and seriousness. one shouldn't need a British passport to be treated as a priority.

The whole country regardless of color/creed had their eyes on this story and everyone seems glad that he is back home safe and sound. It's at times like these that I feel proud to be British.
