Anyone have it, what are you thoughts?

Re: Britax B-Ready

What is it?

Re: Britax B-Ready

It’s a name of travel system(stroller n cars eat)

Ok we don’t have b-reafy. But b-agile n we r using it for 7 months now.. N so far it’s good mashallah..
stroller is light weight n very easy to manuver… N b-safe cars eat. Is good too But a little heavy…it can also buy chico cars eat which has the highest rating with the purchase of adapter…

We bought it from amazon separate together the best price…
b-ready is little expensive but it also has good reviews.

Re: Britax B-Ready

^ i have the b-agile too- its great.

the b-ready is beautiful. honestly, anything britax is amazing. their car seats are also superb. the finishes are better than most on the market, the fabrics are great, and their construction is solid.
its a very sturdy stroller, smooth and a great buy! friends of ours have it in the beige colour and its sooo nice! i have stroller envy whenever i see it lol.

its a big stroller though- its wide and its heavy, so if you have lots of stairs, i’d avoid getting it. a good alternative in its class is the uppbaby vista.

Re: Britax B-Ready

A friend of mine just bought the B-Agile too, the thing she loved most about it was how light it was!
The three I am debating between are the Quinny Buzz, Britax B Ready and M&P Sola. I do like that the Sola reclines flat for infants, whereas both the Buzz and B Ready need a car seat for babies till 6mo. SGC you mentioned that you have both the Sola and Britax, which do you prefer? Also which car seat do you use for the Sola, is it only the Graco Infant

Re: Britax B-Ready

Sola over the B-Agile. The Sola’s basket is bigger and easier to access and the pushing and turning are very smooth and easy. The B-Agile is a two-handed push. I don’t know if its a 3-wheel vs. 4-wheel thing but you can’t really turn it with one hand, if needed.

The seat reclines flat on both but the B-Agile has a strap recline vs. the one-hand handle recline on the Sola. The strap can be a bit of a pain because you have to push against them to make them upright. The Sola wins in this category.

We had him in the car seat more though when he was an infant- he was in the Graco until he was about 7 months old. It was just more convenient for us to have him in there because we’d usually drive places and then click the car seat on the stroller without taking him out of it. If I’d go for walks around the neighborhood, I’d use the stroller seat. After 7 months, he switched to the permanently fixed car seat in the car- we got a Britax one- so then we started using the stroller seat exclusively.

Kid is also seated higher up in the Sola vs. the B-Agile.

The way the B-Agile is designed, the legs hang straight down as they get older, whereas in the Sola, you can adjust the legrest so that its straight out so their legs have more support. My kid is tall so I found that to be a good thing. See, we use the B-Agile when we travel because its so compact and lightweight. We keep it in the car for the same reasons for when we’re out and about. The Sola I prefer to use when I know I’ll be walking lots and taking the subway/buses.

Width and length-wise they’re both basically identical but they both have full-size seats.

However, as far as the sunshade goes, the B-Agile has a much bigger and better one. The Sola’s shade reclines with the seat so when you put the seat back, the shade goes back too even when it is fully extended so the coverage is modest, not great. You might have to get a shade extender if you live in a very sunny place. When they’re sitting upright though, the coverage is great.

But you’re looking at the B-Ready, so the B-Agile comparisons don’t really apply. The B-Ready is a totally different class of stroller. Have you pushed them all in the same store and done a side-by-side comparison?

The biggest thing with the B-Ready is you can attach a second seat to it and convert it into a double stroller if you need to, down the line. Here’s a comparison against others in its class: UPPAbaby Vista vs. Baby Jogger City Select vs. Britax B-Ready « Stroller411.com The City Select is like the B-Agile.

Britax B-Ready

If you’re looking for the perfect stroller, get the Bugaboo Bee! I can’t say enough good things about it! It has a very comfortable seat that can face you or outwards, it steers like a dream, you can easily maneuver it with one hand, it has a nice basket, the shade is great and most importantly it’s incredibly lightweight with all the perks of a full size stroller.

You should really look into a snap n go for the first 5 months or so. Babies are very comfortable in their car seat so it’s best to just take the car seat and latch it on to the snap n go. You could put the car seat with an adapter on a stroller as well but the travel system then becomes soo heavy and is hard to steer.

I used the snap n go with a car seat for the first 4-5 months then got a Bugaboo Bee. I honestly have yet to see a stroller that has better maneuverability than the Bee.

Re: Britax B-Ready

Looove the Bee! I soooooooo wanted it but with all the snow here, I didn’t think it could handle the sidewalks in the winter, so I got talked out of it. Boo. But I still want one! Maybe for the next baby haha :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: Britax B-Ready

LOL and for a stroller and a diaper bag, I want another baby too!

I jsut read your review about b-agile.. the strap part doesnt sound very easy to use.. sgc, why dont you invent a new stroller with all the features that we want and a price that we can afford? wth your background research in it, I know you can :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: Britax B-Ready

^ haha :stuck_out_tongue:

the strap part isn’t hard, really, its just kind of a pain sometimes because you need both hands to do it. but its an infinity recline so you can have it at any angle you want vs. a one-handed handle recline which is usually 3 or 4 fixed recline positions.

Re: Britax B-Ready

Thanks for all the info! I loved the Sola in Plum and Denim, especially the Plum, ouuf soo lovely!! I really liked that stroller, especially the huuge canopy and the recline flat option, but hubby wasnt as keen on it plus I didnt like the Graco infant car seat that it needed, so we just got the Quinny Buzz in black in the end. It was soo overwhelming deciding, so many things to consider and enough reviews to make your head spin. I guess no stroller is always 150% perfect, especially if you dont want to spend a million bucks on it! So hopefully this one will suit us well enough and we wont have any problems with it!!!

^ Congratulations!
