I need some good books to read … preferably British authors (cause they are funnier), girlie stories like Bridget Jones and the Shopaholic books. Something funny and light to read.
Any suggestions?

Anything by Marion Keyes, Jane Green and India Knight are always pretty easy and lighthearted reads.
Try Shakeaspearian Comedies. :k:
e.g. Mid Summer nights dream
Twelfth Night
The Tempest etc.
Actually, I ended up going on a little shopping spree on Amazon.
I got:
Cause Celeb (Helen Fielding)
Olivia Joules and the Overactive Imagination (Helen Fielding)
Shopaholic and Sister (Sophie Kinsella)
Bourne Supremacy (Robert Ludlum) ... cause I read the first one and loved it! The second one should be better!
Cause Celeb is quite good. It's more serious, but is still good. Haven't read the others yet.

Look up Robert Ludlum's WWII stories, they are fast and entertaining reads.
edit: I mean Jack Higgins not Robert Ludlum. Sleep deprivation.... :)
Read Harry Potter...honestly chick they are really good, i had to be forced to read them as they are aimed at children, but J.K Rowling's style of writing is quite good.
I've read all of them Miss M .... I also re-read all of Roald Dahl's books. Can't wait for the next Potter book to come out.
Read them again!..i know somebody who re-reads them every 6 months just in case they missed anything out the first, second, third, forth…times!!
and no its not me! ![]()
