I was wondering if anyone knows this- How long does it take to (after u file the papers) bring your spouse to the USA if u r a US citizen? I have heard 6 months. Has anyone had shorter/ longer/ any experience on this?? Any related info would be helpful

well it depends what type of visa you are filing for them. if you want you spouse to come here as a permanent Resident it takes about 12 to 15 months (dpending on which county he is in) and if you want him to come on a K-3 visa (which is a non-immigrant visa) it should take anywhere between 6-8 months. i hope this hepls.
