One day a trusted General of President Zia was praying at Data darbar in Lahore when he suddenly heard a voice say “Jawan bring me a horse”. The General was very mystified as to what it was all about. Thinking it was a figment of his imagination he forgot all about it. A few days later he was again praying at Data darbar when he heard the same voice again saying “Oye Jawan I asked you to bring me a horse”. The General was really puzzled and upon arriving back in Islamabad discussed the matter with President Zia. The president said that he would accompany the General back to Data darbar and listen to the voice himself and try to analyze the message out of it. So both the General and the President paid a visit to Data darbar where the General began to pray and the President stood near him expecting to hear the mysterious voice. As the General was praying the mystery voice came over again and said “Oye Jawan I asked you to bring a horse not a donkey”.
