Bring back food from the states?

I’m going to LA in a few weeks. My cousin who moved there after getting married over 20 years ago still prefers certain things from the UK, as do her kids. She’s asked me to bring her the following:

Teabags (Yorkshire)
Chocolates (A selection)
Crisps ( Hula Hoops)
Biscuits (Rich tea, digestives)

My question is, what would you bring back from the US?
Are there any paticular things you prefer the taste of, when manufactured in the US?
Is there anything you can only get in the states that you miss, as you can’t get in the UK (or wherever you live)?

My work mates have demanded peanut butter M&Ms as they’re not so readily available in the UK.

Re: Bring back food from the states?

Nope, no food tastes better in the States IMO.. and their tea is just horrible :disgust:!
But what I do bring back is corningware/ Corelle dinnerware. Its much much cheaper and lots more variety there! Get those if you can..

Re: Bring back food from the states?

Cosmetics, toiletries, perfumes are MUCH cheaper in the US. For food items, taco powder is #1 on my list, followed by Splenda (sugar substitute). VERY cheap in the US.

Thanks MissF and muscat.

My MIL's asked for some corelle bowls, and I've already got a v. long list of cosmetics.

Taco powder? What's that?
