Brighter skin please help Gina!

Hi Gina,
After reading so many different forums with your wonderful advice i have a question for you. I have been doing the tomato and lemon juice remedy for few weeks now but no results. Is their another easy remedy you can tell me to get brighter skin. My skin is very dry so no matter how much mostruizer I use their are still patches sometimes on my forehead.

Please help

Thanks in advance!

If your skin is very dry you shouldn't be doing the tomato/lemon treatment :(

  • Do you have any hormonal problems?

Skin can look dull when it's dry, if you're anaemic. You need a nourishing moisturizer and use it several times a day. Stay clear of any astringents or products that contain alcohol.

A great nourishing mask is oat-powder, almond powder mixed with enough cream to make a smooth paste. Leave this on for 20 mins and wash-off and use your moisturizer.

I found this remedy on ehow.com

How to Make Skin Lightening Cream at Home | eHow.com

It says skin lightening but it’s really brightening cause these natural remedies cant change the color of the skin ur born with.

Anyways, Gina what do you think of this???

PSB that remedy is great for marks and pigmentation!

Coolgirl, get your iron levels back-up and you'll see a change Inshallah. Have a tablespoon of honey, figs, dates etc. For better iron absorption you'll need Vitamin C as well so have fresh orange juice, 'amla' is rich in vitamin C as well.

Stay hydrated and have lots of water, keep your skin hydrated as well.

^ correct me if I'm wrong but calcuim actually inhibits the absorption of iron. Iron supplements should be taken with vitamin C...so take fresh orange juice or the like :)

^ Nope, you're correct.. mistake on my part, I was replying to a PM :)
