There are these beautiful bright colored accent chairs from Punjab. They have high back seats and the cushion is made of ropes. I am sorry but I don’t know the proper name or description of these chairs. I am looking for any help/suggestions/comments on what are they called and how and where may I buy some?. Someone told me they are called “peeRRi”.
PeeRhi is like a stool, but to sit on and not to stand on. And peeRhi is quite low, so i don't think it's the "chair" that you are looking for and plus peeRhi doesn't have a back like a chair does.
Sehar, I know what you mean. I believe she was telling me that the chair is made of the same material. I know peerHi is low and is mainly used in kitchens of rural Pakistan where the stoves are on the ground.
I think it is something like peeRha
You mean MooRRha?
No moorha is the round one which looks like an hour-glass.
What's the difference between a peeRha & a peeRhee? Does size matter or is it about colors?
ahmedjee, unfortunately size does matter in this case too.... peerhi is small and short whereas peerha is high and big.
