aaaaaahhhhhh, hinduism.........the oldest man made invention................rock worshipping...........deformed elephants with ten legs = ganesha, son of shiva.. .........the religion is just as man made as the bridge to sri lanka.
The religion, despite all its so called 'wisdom' hasn't done hindus any favours.

But if u r a believer then i have only one thing to say, my friend , in my opinion u r worlds most naive person .
All religions are created by man.. non was created by God. Care to elaborate what is Islam before Mohammad. Religion and religious books only dictate the time or period n which it was wrote. Islam being the latest entrant had some of the best points, but had very medivial cultural practices which were prevelant in Arabia at that time. Reform, reform and reform that is the only way religion can cater to mankind than something that stuck up in medivial times.
Religion is only needed to give u a moral framework in which to function, it should not discriminate or preach hatred and also should not form the basis of laws by which a country has to be ruled.

Thats the Tulsi Ramayana. The original Valmiki Ramayana written in Sanskrit dates to atleast a millenium B.C.
Vedas came first, then the epics (Ramayana and Mahabharata in that order), then the Upanishads and then the Puranas, Brahmanas and Smritis.

don't get me wrong, i ain't religious, there's things in religion which i don't agree with, but then the 'scholars' could be wrongly interpreting whats written, looking from a naive person....sorry athiest's point of view, there's thing's which science will never be able to prove, so i'm open minded.
