Anyway, to get back on topic, I really don’t see why the posts of Lublyjubly, Somegroovychic and even my own to some extent are making so many people upset. They are just venting online.
By the way, if you are a regular reader of the wedding forum, these posts are really nothing. They aren’t calling anybody names, not making fun out of anybody or laughing/being cruel like a lot of members were doing in the post real bridal pictures thread.
This is just venting. If people can’t even discuss things online, then what is the point in even posting? They aren’t hurting anybody and if they were, I believe the mods would step in and take action, as they did in the other thread which has not been locked thanks to the behaviour of a lot of members.
At the end of the day, just do what you want and wear what you want. Who cares. This is just a forum. Jeez!

but I’ll say it anyway, there IS a life after the wedding, the less time you spend sweating and stressing over such small details, the less of a shock period there will be after the wedding…

I’m sure they heard you the first time Sara, and I’m sure these girls will continue to plan their shadis and post all the exciting details online 
You never got that opportunity to plan, and I’m sure they understand that you were quite content with the way things turned out.
Lekin Sara, not everybody is the same. If they want to stress over the details, let them. It seems like you and some of the other girls are getting upset and there is really no need to get so personal. Like I said before, a lot of these posts are just VENTING ONLINE because of the stress **and **excitement factor.
As far as I can tell from the posts, nobody will be standing with a shot gun at the entrance shooting girls who show up in their shadi joras or jhumars. These girls are just expressing their opinions! Nobody is asking you to quit voicing your thoughts and expressions. Just let them voice theirs too.
Planning a wedding is extremely stressful, but it’s damn exciting too! :rotato:
