I dont think I'll be a bridezilla either. I am kind of cool with most of the preparations happening. Plus, my focus is way more on the marriage than the wedding ceremonies for now.
I think the only time I qualified was when it came to my dress, but in my defense, it arrived a couple of weeks before the wedding when it was supposed to have been done two months before! its enough to drive a girl nuts, let me tell ya. and all i did was ring the dressmaker a couple of times a week for a couple of weeks wondering where the heck the dress was.
but thats it lol.
Well I m ging through dis phase now a days but since more or less everything is going in a smooth way MashaAllah so I m relaxed no worries just a lil concerned abt my main day outfit :)
Back then there was no Wedding forum, so I was asking my questions in the main forum, and jeez, ppl calling me bridezilla and giving me lectures on how to have my marriage...annoyed the bleep outta me! so, no, I wasn't a bridezilla, but I also think that ppl are too quick to slap on that term now.
I feel bad - I’ve not even started the wedding planning (for a wedding that should take place in 3 years) and I can already feel the bridezilla coming out!
Like if someone’s offering a suggestion about an outfit I should wear, or something equally superficial, I’m nodding along saying I’ll keep that in mind, but on the inside i’m thinking ‘no, be quiet, it’s my wedding: my choice! mine, mine all mine!’
Hm, maybe I’ll behave better if I stop watching wedding shows like Bridezilla?
