I was wondering what everyone’s take is on bridesmaids?
I went to a wedding where the bride had 8 bridesmaids wearing light blue, and the brides dress had that shade of light blue in her dark blue dress,
It looked beautiful, especially for pics!
In western weddings bridesmaids are to carry the trail etc, but for desi weddings I think it’s just a nice way to make your friends feel special, take lots of pics and add to the colour theme!

me and my sister will b bridesmaids at my khala's wedding this summer. she also has a couple of other girls as bridesmaids with us. we are all wearing the same lengha and will be walking in together behind her. we dont have any specific duties apart from wearing the same outfit and walking in together lol

except i'm going to ask my bridesmaids to walk in before me in 2's, and then me.. are you guys holding flowers or dias or anything?

my khala will be walking in with my two mamus on either side of her and we will be walking in behind her holding small bouquets
