And that's where you and I will have to disagree; I'm more than willing to sacrifice my dignity (what little I have) for a freebie, but I refuse to sacrifice my appearance as well.
"Wanting subtle makeup, while (indeed) commendable" could never be anyone's excuse for wandering up to a MAC counter.
Whether you'll find any of them at a MAC counter is another matter entirely.
Heaven forbid! No actually, some brides really don't have the $100-200 to spare for a proper makeup session (whether it be at their homes/hotels/venues or an independent salon/spa/etc); other brides don't otherwise have the time or the option (like automne) so I can't begrudge them for doing something dictated by necessity. That said, I don't think that the bride in the vid was one of those cases.
My friend did, bless her; by the looks of it, she wasn't fortunate enough to find one of the better artists (assuming they even exist), but it was her big day so I bit my tongue, smiled and told her she looked beautiful. She felt beautiful, and that's all that mattered to me, though if I'd known she'd be forced to trudge down to the MAC counter mere hours before her big day, I'd gladly have offered to do her makeup myself.
I felt really bad for my friend, as her family had clearly lavished big bucks on the wedding itself, but spared only 2 Jacksons for her slap. :-/
Thats one desi way of abutting the hole in the sole of poor creatures who cant find a mate. Jealosuy manifests in protean ways.
