Brides & Glowing skins

Most to-be-brides use Ubtan before their wedding. Does it actually make your skin glow and whiter? Any drying or other effects?

Which other totkas are you using?

Re: Brides & Glowing skins

just eat healthy DD.. i was taking care of my skin by eating healthy like fruits apples, pineapples loads of cucumbers, milk ,oats meal, freshjuices, green tea, lemon water etc and regular cleansing, toninh and moisturizing thats it.. ubtan wont make ur skin glow unless you are health from inside avoid frying foods chips, drinks burgers etc

Re: Brides & Glowing skins

drink tomato juice DD.
and begin drinking hot water with lemon like 2 3 times during the day
both are great detoxifers

Re: Brides & Glowing skins

What about carrot juice  with an orange added to it! Tastes yummy :biggthumb:

Re: Brides & Glowing skins

Yeah I 100% agree with apple blossom. You have to make sure you take care of yourself in terms of diet and regular excerise.

However I do think ubtan is a great added extra. I personally have been using it since I was around 13-14 years old and it has really helped me. I think it makes your skin softer and brighter. Im not sure if most people add lemon juice to it but I do to help even out my skin tone and it works. I dont think theres any harm in trying it as its natural.

I think the key to good skin is water, drink as much as you can

Re: Brides & Glowing skins

cold water
avoid the sun
don't wear much makeup
sunscreen
lots of green veggies and fruit

Re: Brides & Glowing skins

Lots of green veggies & fruits & water - This is basically where i am missing out, working on it though!

Re: Brides & Glowing skins

i m adding yoghurt to my diet. Unable to add veggies and fruits. Dont feel like eating.

Re: Brides & Glowing skins

nothing like orange juice for your skin

Re: Brides & Glowing skins

Besan mixed with milk :D

Re: Brides & Glowing skins

I've started eating fruits and veggies, which I never used to before.

I barely drink any water, my skin is so dry....and I know I should drink lots but I just can't seem to. I keep forgetting!

Re: Brides & Glowing skins

please do apply ubtan. I love home remedies. Always followed them and always loved them.

On the otherside, please please drink water, stay hydrated. You want your skin feeling fresh, one thing that most of us don't do is SLEEP on time. You need your sleep, jitna kha lo pilo, ager ap sahih se nahin so gey, everything will go to waste.

Re: Brides & Glowing skins

i just wanna say meow

dont use ubtan with water girls, add milai, or yogurt. try it on a patch of skin first and see which works better with your skin. for some milai is the way to go, for others it is yogurt

Re: Brides & Glowing skins

How early did you girls start prepping? in terms of cleansing routine and diet, etc;

Re: Brides & Glowing skins

Ubtan is not suiting me i guess. Its making me dark :S. Though i have only applied it twice in last wk. Its saeed ghani`s ubtan and I mixed in in milk and cream. I dont where I am wrong.

Re: Brides & Glowing skins

i started a month before ..

Re: Brides & Glowing skins

You should mix in milai and half a lemon. apply it to hands first and see results in two three days. apply it..then massage it in till it comes off in rolls
wash hands with water and see results.

I don't think saeed ghani is good enough. Just got ubtan myself and my skin is glowing

Re: Brides & Glowing skins

lack of lemon is the reason.
also, try applying it at night or evening and washing it off in time rather than doing it in the morning. dont go out in the sun with it. bongi

Re: Brides & Glowing skins

I only applied it at night. I didnt add lemon because i thought it is drying. Kher I will try with lemon one time.

whats the DIY recipe of ubtan??

aah I dnt want to make one. tum bana ke bhejwado!! :(
