It’s usually the make-up (foundation to be precise) and bright lights. Some even use foundation on their arms so that it matches with the face. It’s just the association of fair skin tone with looking beautiful - which is absolutely ridiculous.

Okay, thanks! They must wear a lot foundation then! I think that’s just ridiculous… at least I wont let anyone to put on me that much foundation, I want to look myself in wedding pictures!
