mothers especially and fathers often worry about having a baby girl because a girl has honour and sometimes it is difficult for the parents to look after them in LEDCs
however they forget that it is a girl/woman who has to carry the next generation of children and i don’t think that they(girls) should be killed coz the parents won’t be able to afford the dowry:crying:
this is what actually puts mothers in a difficult posistion to abort the child.
another reason is that the grooms family should not ask for dowry in the 1st place as it is a huge pressure on families who have not one daughter to marry off but sometimes more e.g 4 to 6 or more so therefore there is a bride shortage:(
