Hi guys
I am getting married in July Insha Allah. I wanted to know if anyone knows of a boutique in karachi where i can buy ready-made bride’s dress (traditional dark red is my favorite). I really don’t have a lot of time so I want a place that will take only 1-2 or at max 3 days to do the fitting
Does anyone know a good place???

my wedding is in coming august. i bought my wedding dress from karachi pakistan from a boutique called shakeel in saima market(tariq road), they have very unique colection of bridal dresses but the prices will be a bit high
Re: Bride dress in karachi
^ what is the price range at that store?
Re: Bride dress in karachi
You can buy the dress ready made it’s getting it sewn quickly that is an issue…you could always try buyying the dress at a boutique and then using a tailor your family knows/trusts to get it sewn in time.
Re: Bride dress in karachi
do the boutiques take a long time to make alterations once u pick a ready made dress becoz i really dont have time - i m getting to pak only a week before my wedding
Re: Bride dress in karachi

Sare, if I buy from this place, will they do the fitting and give it to me on the same day and also what is the general price range
Re: Bride dress in karachi
My cousins and I have purchased three bridal outfits from the same shop on Tariq Road. The name starts with "M". It's on the tip of my tongue........arggggggggggh.....hate it when this happens. Gimme a bit and I will think of it, else I will check the bag that I have at home and post the name.
They have absolutely stunning designs! I purchased a royal purple and magenta lehnga that was suited for a valima -- very, very, very heavy work -- encrusted in beads and kundan. They asked for Rs. 40K and Ibrahim bargained them down to Rs. 18K.
I even got matching costume jewellery done in exactly the same colours at this shop in the lower level of Saima market. (I think it was the lower level of Saima market.)
Most of the vendors in shops on Tariq Rd. are able to have the outfits sewn/fitted for you in a couple of days if not over-night. That's the least of your worries if money is no object.
Re: Bride dress in karachi
Its Markaz-e-Haseen Boutique. It is a very good boutique with beautiful outfits. prices are generally very reasonable and they usually lower them for you. You have to bargain a lot. I dont know how much mine cost because i went with my nani when i got the outfits but she bargained with them until they gave up and agreed with her price. there is a lot to choose from. they also have beautiful saris and shalwar kameez waghaira. you should try them. they will have the outfits stitched for you too. they had a female come and measure me for the size and had my outfit stitched right in the store and i got it within 4 days.
Re: Bride dress in karachi
I shopped at Rabi Center on Tariq Road and most shops there if not all had a pretty good selection. I bought several shalwar kameez plus one lehanga ( a walima dress, the shop asked for 12000 we paid 8000). They were able to sew it in 2 days but the guy who took the measurements didnt take them correctly and hence the dresses were too small for me. But it was the shopkeeper's fault and not the tailors. I would say either have the tailor measure you or take a sample outfit. But stitching the dress in 2 days shouldnt be a problem.
I would also liek to note that since we shopped in June/July the prices were much lower than they would be in the normal shadi season.
Re: Bride dress in karachi
Markaz-e-Haseen is a veru nice shop with average prizes. I bought a heavy formal fish cut lehnga for my cousins wedding, and he started with 12000 and sold it to me for 6000 rs. Now that's CHEAP!! Also there is a boutique at the ground floor at Dolmen Mall, at Tariq Road, can't remember the name.
A little more expensice, but their designs are totally dashing....
