Bride and Prejudice

Has anyone seen that movie???

Remember this girl:

Anywayz she did the snake dance…(don’t know what the real name of the dance is)…it was so funny. My niece actually practices at home… . The movie wasn’t all that good, but it had a few funny parts. Oh another funny part was when they were in the bazaar and all of a sudden they start singing in English and all the stall owners come in and start dancing. :hehe: I expected the movie to be more of an American rather than Bollywood type of movie.

Re: Bride and Prejudice

crappy movie.

Re: Bride and Prejudice

a shame to the pride and prejudice series that had (colin firth as darcy) and the novel itself (Jane Austen must be crying)...pride and and prejudice series is one of my all time favorites and i don't wanna destroy its image by watching this movie...the trailer of the movie itself was horrible enough.....

Re: Bride and Prejudice

horrific
I watched like 1/4th of it, and after that breakout singing in English accompanied by dancing in the middle of the bazaar, I couldn't stomach it. I had to turn it off. Crappy movie indeed!

Re: Bride and Prejudice

ya I agree it was a horrible movie…too much over acting…I think they were too excited to be in an “American” movie.

Re: Bride and Prejudice

Ebert and Roeper gave it two thumbs up. I think they know better than some guppies the difference between good and bad movies.

Re: Bride and Prejudice

I liked it. It wasn't oscar worthy, but it was a fun, light-hearted flick. The A&E version of Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth is one of my favourite movies. You can't compare the two versions ... they are very different.

Re: Bride and Prejudice

also for them the idea of bollywood mixing with hollywood is kinda new and cool thing and hence the rating…but believe me if u watch the Colin Firth version then u will notice the differences

Re: Bride and Prejudice

Well after watching movies like American Desi…it wasn’t all that good. I mean there were funny parts…but the way they made the movie wasn’t too appealing.
