Alright so, is it only the girls side that gives the gifts to the grooms side of the family? Or is it the same for the grooms side as well.

i think it pretty much depends on the family. i think the groom's family should at least give a gift to the bride's immediate family to show some appreciation for hosting most of the wedding events.

The girls side give clothes to the grooms mum and sisters and the grooms family do the same.....

groom's father and brothers also get clothes etc from girls side . this is called Pehnaviyan in urdu and its a norm now a days.

Both families give gifts to each other unless they agree otherwise.
