offwhite and white together just look weird to me, i gotta say.
i much prefer the jewel tones janab-e-ali suggested for darker complexions- they look so much more livelier and richer than on fairer girls.

the darker/richer/ colors …jewel tones look the best on duskier complexions..personally i didnt like the lime green/taupe combo of this bride…

yes I find that the green and taupe does not compliment her skin tone at all.....in fact it appears in this photo to drain her of colour and make her look jaundiced rather than glowing and pink.
the maroon/red however looks beautiful.
I definitely prefer jewel tones.
a few ideas or dusky looking models in colors you may like
most greens really suit tanned girls so does purple come to think of it..

i posted tons for whatever tone that isn't fair, also i think if you look at models or actresses like bipasha (b4 the skin bleaching) and priyanka (she has her dusky moments), carol gracias, nina manuel, vidisha pavate you can get an idea. i know sabyasachi mukherjee is great with colors and so is satya paul, a lot of their ramp models are dusky women.
