Where are u having it? at home or at a restaurant? and u are sure it will be all girls? if i had the chance, i’d wear something western, a short skirt, or dress etc… just cz its all girls and i’tll be fun

yep.. cuz the country where I live in, every girl has to throw her own bridal shower, & for me its gonna be like 20-30 girls frm all around school/college/friends/family friends etc ,so its from me, & since I was born here & soon I'll travel & leave this country forever so want to take some nice memorable memories with me! :)

yea its at my home & there be willbe ONLY GIRLS.. & i’m going to wear a nice fully embellished fishtail maxi with a trail, off shoulders . most of my friends coming 2 the party r non desi so they r going to wear same western dresses too, but since there willbe only girls, & it willbe written on the invitation card that Cameras r not allowed so have no worries. now i’m looking 4 another nice dress, cuz i want to wear 2 dresses, will change one afterwards, so i’m still looking 4 2nd dress 
. but i’m still in a search of nice Matching Tiara, I want to wear Turquoise tiara with big crystal turquoise earrings. can anyone tell me any website where I can find colored tiara?? need it badly :(.

Aisha, i dont think anne summers is in Dubai, i did read b4 that its best selling shops were located in the Middle East, but perhaps not there. The closest u'll probably get to it is Agent Provocateur... But seriously, Anne Summers was meant as a joke, as its rather risque.

However i still have to decide what to do about it ..
OK, i have an idea for the wedding shower gift.
Get a nice bix box or basket, and fill it with a selection of small nice items that you think the new bride will find necessary during / after the wedding that she may not have time to think of. If she is going on honeymoon, or staying at a hotel, u might include some travel size luxury cosmetics or scented shower gels and shampoos. Definitely include some sort of wet wipes (freshening up). Maybe a couple of nice face towels (u really DONT wanna use hotel towels on your face!), even small snacks like nuts and chocolates and individually wrapped cakes and stuff in case they dont like whats on offer in the mini bar.
Also, things like make-up / nail polish remover and cotton pads and tissues.
Fill it with other stuff that u think she will like, u r her friend so u should know.
U can add something like a nightie slip or something too.
A gift like this is nice bcos its personalised and VERY useful too. That means that when its her wedding u can get her a proper gift.
What does everyone else think? All those of u who are married, can u think of anything that u needed / would have liked???

yaar can anyne tell me do I have to give wedding favour boxes on my bridal shower? i’m really confused since I saw 1 girl she gave it to the guests, but my another egyptian friend didnot gave it on her bridal shower. so i’m all confused if I should or shouldn’t?? what do u think guys? since we had favours on my nikkah day in Pakistan, but dont know if it has to be repeated or not??

yaar aisha.. jee jee dubai wali hee, i wanna ask u a q , if u live in Dubai where do u shop from for ur clothes,tops t-shirts etc? cuz I have been to dubai many times & there r hundreds of shopping malls.. but all of them r too expensive I guess, cuz the shirt that cost $5 at my country (Meditranean country yaar), it costs like $80 there, so I never like to waist my money & even my other friends who visit Dubai & have got relatives & stays there for like 2-3 months, they also prefer buying their all wardrobe clothes from here instead of Dubai..
so give me a useful tip 4 shopping at Dubai!!!
also any nice place for my Honeymoon ;) , I can't find anythning except shopping plazas & hotels :(
Go to The Body Shop store, its the best place for bridal shower gifts..
Get some shower gels, body lotion, fragrance oils etc. and get is nicly packed in a basket . the body shop does it for you.
Its a little on the expensive side but an excellent gift for the bride.
