Bridal Shower Questions frm the bridals

How involved were your girls while ur best friend/or cousins were planning ur bridal shower?

Do guys think its ok to ask “no Children” to a bridal shower? (i just want girls…no guys…no kids).

and how many months before the wedding shld a bridal shower be held?

Re: Bridal Shower Questions frm the bridals

I dont think the bride needs to be tooo involved in the bridal shower --she has enough on her mind! She can supply a guest list and give suggestions for the date, to make sure its suitable for her. But she doesnt need to be involved in all the small planning details

I think putting no kids is fine -especially if alot of the guests have kids because then it might get really chaotic if there are 20-30 kids running around! For most people it is not a big deal to have their hubby/parents/someone else watch their kids for a few hours. But I do think exceptions should be made for a newborn baby who is being breastfeed

I think bridal showers are typically held 1-2 months before the wedding. Before 2 months is too early IMO

Re: Bridal Shower Questions frm the bridals

Thanks MN, yeah i was thinking its shld be ok to say 'no kids' ...but there wouldn't have been 20-30 kids to being with...i want a small 15-20 close friends & family bridal shower and there might be 5 kids that will be staying home :)

and staying out of the planning process is going to be really hard for me...my best friend was freaking out when i told her i got the favors already :p

well... I have organised my sister's hen night (bridal shower) and its strictly mentioned on the invitations...sorry! no children - so youre being polite as well as stating your request. From there it is up to the guest to either get a babysitter or miss out on the fun! bridal shower is usually for women - so im sure men wont mind not attending...

as my sis is getting married abroad she will be having her bridal shower one month before she goes - were inviting atleast 65 guest all women and no children so we had to set a date in advance........
