My cousin is having a bridal shower…any ideas on what to get her?

  • A gift certificate for a day at the spa
  • Scented candles and massage oils
  • goodies bag from Sephora (great idea by Pink'd Out)
  • Proper pajamas (I really appreciated receiving that on my shower)

What I really wanted, but didn't get, was a nice bath robe. I always wore one at home in Canada ... not the lingerie kind, but the warm kind that you just want to wear when it's freezing cold outside and you are bumming around at home. I'm sure other people will get the usual lingerie stuff .... but that is something I wanted to get and didn't get (I mean I didn't even get it on my own). bummer

a bridal shower is a party thrown by the bride's friend (or sometimes even the bride herself).....its usually for the bride and her friends....and they bring gifts to the bride, eat, gossip, and play games...mainly, its jsut an excuse for the girls together and party!!!

Has your cousin created any bridal registry? Maybe get something from there that she has picked. If not you can't go wrong with a gift certificate to Victorias Secret so she can select what she likes. Something we did for a good friend was get really nice stationary..it was like this small binder, very pretty...and we had gathered a recipe each from each friend and then added into the binder and handed her the recipe book. It was very elegant and she really appreciated the effort. We got the idea online.

Everyone gets lingerie..i like the bathrobe idea. What about really comfy slippers, those big plush ones that are super soft?

A gift card i think is the best idea for a gift if the bride doesn have a registry and you're not sure of what she really wants. Like a gift card from her favorie clothing store or of course Victoria's secret or even bath and body works.

If you really want to buy a gift then it think a set of nice photo albums or a nice wooden jewelry box maybe engraved with her name will be really nice.

I had such a cute mayyoun/bridal shower type thing, my friends threw for me :jano: I got a nightgown + robe, a box of chocolates and an Estee Lauder perfume set. i know its not alot but coming from them it was a whole lot :jano:
