Hi all i’m going to the UK tomorrow for a few days (I live in paris) and I’m looking for shops in Manchester to get - my bridal jewelry (gold and artificial for the mehndi and for my sisters) - clothes, not necessarily for me because I got everything from Pakistan, but formals for the girls in my family and for the men (kurtas etc) - decoration I’m sure i’m forgetting some things but any recommendations would be really nice ![]()

Re: Bridal shopping in Manchester
I went to imaani studio. It was soooo rubbish. They had really old designs and were charging stupid amounts. They quoted me £5,500 for two outfits which Karma and Maria B quoted £1,500. They didn't have any nice casual attire or jewellery either.

Cinammonroll (saying that with water in my mouth!!!). In Manchester, you can go to Wilmslow road for the mens selection as well. Burooj is good. For small decorations etc, I would recommend to go to Bombay Stores in Bradford...they also have concessions selling jewellery and sell clothes as well. They also have various nik naks for mehndi etc (thali etc.). On Wilmslow Road in Manchester, you can try out "Head Over Heels", I think she has also bought a shop call "Shagun". Radiant is right, there are some shops on Stockport Road (A6 Longsight) as well, however, I have not experienced those yet.
