Do they have joras with kaam already done on them and just need stitching? Like ready made but non stitched???
Re: Need help with bridal shopping in Karachi!!!
No they dont have that...you have to bring your own fabric and use a kaam and they will do it
if you want ready made kam walay (unstiched ones), then best place for you is tariq road..there are lots of boutiques there where you will find formal dresses which you only need to stictch
Re: Need help with bridal shopping in Karachi!!!
Definitely check out RimJhim near Gulf or Jabeens in Tariq Road...they are co-owned I think coz they have the same outfits in each store. I think they are the best stores for stitched outfits coz their kaam is amazing and their stitching is done really well. They are also not exorbitantly expensive like designer stuff.
For kaam walay unstitched kapray, check out the Mecca store in Rabi..they have really nice kaam. They also have some really nice saris and if you want they can do some amazing kaam on your saris.
For nice banarsi fabric or jamawar, check out Hilal Silk Palace in Bhadurabad (near the exclusive boutique) and also check out Banaras Silk House on Zamzama. Both these stores have amazing fabric.
For shoes and purses, go to the shoe stores in Zamzama. But there are only a couple good stores in Zamzama like stiletto etc...they are not all good.

Re: Need help with bridal shopping in Karachi!!!
go to zam zama and tariq road (P.L.K) on tariq road is a good shop
or check out jabeens
good luck
Re: Need help with bridal shopping in Karachi!!!
Shoe stores in Zamzama are overpriced. The same products are available on Tariq Rd. for a fraction of the cost.......and no, they are not lower quality.....they are the same product by the same manufacturer.
For embroidered but unstitched outfits try the shops in and around Rabi Centre. You will find loads in the Rs.7,000 to Rs. 15,000 range that will be suitable for a bari.

I used to think this way too....but when I saw for myself how unreasonably expensive zam zama is and that I could find all the same items on Tariq Rd then I changed my mind.
There are a number of high-end shops on Tariq road so I don't see it as cheap in any way.
Re: Need help with bridal shopping in Karachi!!!
yeh the same shops r in tariq road too
but if ur gettting it from the same shop it will cost u the same amount
so its just easier at zam zama cuz u find everything ther
plus its so much easier to shop there
amazing service and very posh ppl
no pushing or wierd ppl
its a much btr place to shop at
less rush too
Re: Need help with bridal shopping in Karachi!!!
Can you name any specific stores in Zamzama where you got reasonaly priced good quality clothes? Any shop that you recommend future brides should visit for their Jahaiz, bari chothes?
Re: Bridal Shopping in Karachi - Outfits, Shoes
My friend is raving about 'Saakh'. Haven't been there myself but she says the formals were top class. Please remember she thinks a Rs. 20,000 semi-formal outfit is pretty cheap.
Here are the shop details.

ohh yehh its all about straight pants and ijaars but ther still used
does anyone know of some woman named mrs.kazmi that makes really nice kara dupattas? she lives or works in KDA i believe
She's actually suppose to be a really high end Pakistani designer.. I don't know where she works from, but I have heard she's really really expensive and Her specialty is bridal work... I'm sure she does other work than bridal too though. Hope this helps :)
I recieved my wedding gharara and a light sharara from Jabeen's finally. Just 9 days late :) The sharara is beautiful, perfect kaam and perfect fitting. I got it for 25000. My gharara fits good as well but I realize I ordered the shirt a couple inches too long :( I guess it can't be altered now. and the kaam is heavy and the layers keep getting stuck to each other. The kora/dabka is coming loose in a very few places. But everyone says thats normal for such a heavy gharara..
Bridal for 25k Rs really? wot kinda work it had on?
