En style, Brides and You (or you and brides).. asianbride (which is a UK-based mag) is also alright, but not very Paki, its more indian/UK fusion (like white wedding gowns) etc..

Hi Humeira,
i do recommend the UK-based Asiana Wedding Magazine. It’s very good with modern and traditional dresses. When i was in England in April i bought both Asian Bride and Asiana Wedding, in order to find out which one is better. So after having compared both, i can say that my favourite is Asiana… :love:
They also have a website where u can order the magazine, they will surely send it to Canada. Just check www dot asianamag dot com -

This is specially for those wwho are here in uk and are getting married in Pakistan - Lahore/Karachi, i picked this magazine up "Me & My wedding" from a shop in green street-London "sub-rang" its £5 but i think its usefull, not as brilliant as the asain bride asiana directory but still its usefull...
adverts include jewellery, bridal wear, fashion wear, and a couple of event/wedding planners, photographers, makeup....
I shall be visiting Pkaistan inshAllah in few weeks so i intend to check out the outlets of fashion wear advertised, there are some gorgeous suits for mendhi too, both as a mendhi dulhan or to wear on sumone elses mendhi....
designer is Zahra Ahmed, and she is in Fortress Stadium in lahore. but im very very impressed by the clothes....
one thing i noticed about jewellery is that, big sets are still in,....but also some models wearing two sets , a chocker with pendent, loooks like one big set...but very practical.... also big jhumars are shown alot....but if bride isnt wearing jhumar then the tikka is massive and it actually looks nice....
maybe in a day or so,...or couple of weeks i might scan in a few things from the magazine.... :D
also there are quiet a number of bridal salons advertised, some seem very alle nora type, but sum are not so bad....

oh my Ghosh! I have been looking for that magazine, I managed to pick one issue up in a shop near me, but they don't have them regularly. Where abouts is this shop you bought the mag from? is it any where near Henna/Mehndi, damani, Bareeze or generation? Please let me know... thanks

Its on the other end of green street.....as you come past the police station from romford road, you should pass it on your right. opposite a mosque, and a few doors down from chiffons, and where khubosoorat used to be... Shop is called SUB RANG its an islamic bookshop.

Yes they had about1 or 2 magazines left only thou :/ your welcometo pop round my house lol to look at it, but im afraid i do need it.

I might just have to read your copy if I don't get hold of it! LOL nah I'm only joking, the magazine is good for wedding ideas. I am inshallah getting married next year and need some ideas from pakistan about whats available & whats in..
I live in Northwest London so it's only if & when I go down to green Street, haven't been there for ages.

I dont think this magazine is available in Canada..unless anyone know of a store that sells it. Is it possible for you to tell me of some kind of an email add of the editor's or some kind of contact info printed in the mag?

Hi Guys,
I was just wondering if any one knows how to subscripe for some of the wedding magazine in pakistan ; for example Bride and you ( i hope i got it right) and Visage and anyother fashion magazine.
