^ I have no idea, but I hope the heck they do! Why don't you get in touch with Ensemble to ask if they still have any in stock? They have a facebook group as well.

i just ordered 2 sabyasachi sarees from india...this aunty in dallas makes a trip to india 3-4 times a year....IA i am hoping to go with her next year..
Chanda, you lucky lucky girl - I'm so jealous! who is this fashionable aunty because you've got to hook me up! - lol
What do they look like?

Nope - I believe they don't carry any stock by Indian designers, although I wish they would make an exception for Sabyasachi!
^ I'm glad someone agrees - I thought I was taking crazy pills there for a second!
They also have a dedicated area for Ritu Kumar outfits, but for some reason they didn't have any appeal. The work looked cheap as well as the fabrics.
haha im sure you weren't wrong! i bet this lady doesn't know
kaam-walay saris
I want to find saris that would be suitable for my mother to wear at my wedding...something thats not too bright (she won't wear fluorescent colors for example) and that has beautiful kaam on it. Are there any places we can buy saris like this ready made with just the blouse piece unstitched? Places like Hilal are out because they generally just have banarsi and jamayvaar without actual beading or sequins ("sequence") on them ;)
Re: kaam-walay saris
fasaadi, do you want a designer sari for her to wear? Did to look at Rehana Saigol saris at Ensemble?
BTW, Rizwan Moazzam has some stylish sarees. I think they start from Rs. 13,000 onwards. Mohsins has a large collection. I really like the ones at** Makkah Cloth Depot** in Rabi Center. Do check out out boutiques are at Dolmen shopping center on Tariq Road. I think Jabeen's also makes them but they are made to order.
My cousin recently got a saree from Makkah cloth house at Rabi centre with kaam on all borders for 6000....They were quoted 9000 initially....so dont forget to bargain....and it was a beautiful piece!
Re: kaam-walay saris
kaam waalay nai kaam-waali saarii...its a feminine gender lol
go for Banarasii saariis :)
Re: kaam-walay saris
Makkah cloth house/depot is on which floor in Rabi? Is it directly in front of you when you climb the second set of stairs?
Re: kaam-walay saris
Yes. You can ask anybody there. It is a very famous shop. The kaam is fine, too. Remember, you need to bargain.
Re: kaam-walay saris
fasaadi, did you manage to find the kaam wali sarees that you were looking for?
Re: kaam-walay saris
^youre a sweetheart for asking! I wanted to have info before I go and look for myself...I'll be in Karachi in late November so I'll check up on these helpful leads then :)

Re: Bridal Sari/Saree Shops In Karachi
where is guru nank shop in lahore plz?
Re: Bridal Sari/Saree Shops In Karachi
I have seen many shops in Tariq Road for bridal sarees, but somehow didnt like any. Some were too simple and didn't look bridal. some were good so were priced too high like PKR 30,000. Do you recommend buying fabric for the sari like plain schiffon or indian maisori sari and get it embroidered with marori or other hand work. Do u recommend any good embroidery market with okay price tags, like paaposh maybe. I am looking to get a good embroidered bridal sari within the range of PKR 10 to 12 thousand.
Thanks,
