Wow mashallah…i first thought it was a model walkin the ramp with Hsy at the end of the show lol …but when i looked more closer i saw a quran above her head which is unussual during catwalk shows lol and since the pictures dont look like they have been taken by a professional i was like hmm…The couple look both cute together i would say almost perfect guys looks like a model too…the bride looks elegant and gracefull, she has the classic gorgeous face that goes very well with her classic traditional rich and delicate dress and the colors tht have been used. Very different and unussual as what u see these days.
I love the way she is wearing her dupatta makes it look very classic i think that must have been the whole initial purpose of her dress…i dont know if it is me only but it gives a whole classic and very expensive indian-ish maharani style to me…i wonder how long it has taken to stitchher dupatta…love it very decent…the dupatta seems very heavily embroidured that she maybe is wearing it the way she is. if pinned backwards i like letting it the drape go behind her back or put them on one shouder it would havenot looked as stunning and a waste of all the kaam actually. but thats a difference of taste i guess
In my opinion The colors of her jewellery do match her clothes…just look very close and u can see it looks all matched…it completes the whole maharani style effect .
the jhumar looks maybe a bit out of its place because the dupatta looks so heavy to me that it looks like as if it kind of pulls back her hair and maybe thats why her hair looks to some of u a bit uncombed lol I dont think that the colors she is wearing suits many or most of the girls i have seen like the way it suits her maybe because she is and looks like a model lol.
btw sumiya i am sure you must have looked stunning in your dress…looks mashallah very pretty

not really the samebut colors do match a little…the dupatta is less embroidured so i m guessingthat the bride must have a gharara…i love gharara’s btw dont have 1 and i really want to get 1 made…:cu2::cu2:

^ nice gharara, but im not sure i like the bottom of it thats forming a dome of kaam when she's standing still.
what is Lajwanti, btw? is it a store or a designer? the name keeps popping up...
also WOW shahnawaz's new brides are GORGEOUS! what pretty portraits he makes... dang. i might have to go see him when the hubs and i visit pakistan... whenever that might be, who knows.

Lajwanti is a designer, i think they're made up o fa husband and wife team.
I knowww SN stuff is soooo nice! But i doubt hubby will be willing to dress up and get pics taken again :(

yeah, no that wont work. he’s a stubborn soul. He did say taht we could take our CD and have a really nice album made by the same fotographer who did my SIL’s wedding…compromises i guess :hinna:

the girl was a model Marry poppins. She is a lawyer by profession if I am not wrong and has been practicing in New York. She is the daughter of famous celebrity couple, Mr and Mrs Naeem Bukhari who are now separated. Furthermore, her grand mom was the well known singer from the subcontinent, Malika Pukhraj.

hmm i thought the bride’s gala was a bit much, the dress is nice but not spectacular, i think she looks better on the nikkah day when she’s wearing a simple red sari and natural makeup, she comes across as much more naturally beautiful and elegant that day
