Amina is soooo pretty in real life but on her wedding day, whoever did her makeup, did a horrible job. the outfit is gorgeous though.

this set reminds me of this one in terms of style-

and i figured out why i don’t like it- its cos the red gem they’ve used, it looks like its made kundan style, with foil under it, it doesn’t look like a ruby. and i guess i prefer kundan in clear, not colour, at least for jewellery. or maybe its the lighting or something thats making it seem extra shiny… thats what makes it look a bit off for me.

the pics are really crappy quality anyways, so alot of things will look EH...it's only when u c it upclose or detailed, that it looks fabulous....persoanlly i dont like kundan jewelery at all, esp for a wedding set, it looks hideous IMO..

In my openion I think Kundan gold set looks amazing. The color might look too fakke....but i have seen some pictures of brides wearing very heavy dress and they wore simple kundan set and it looked amazing and simple.
I am sick of pure gold yellow stuff that some bride still wear.

WHat do kundan gold sets look like? Are they diff than kundan sets w/ colored stones?

SGC, where did you get your make up done? i saw your pics sometime ago and i thought the make up was really pretty and elegant. a fresh look from all the white/caked/heavy makeup desi brides normally have.
