^ actually her pic was up here before and my reaction then was meh, but now after looking at more pics of the dress and jewelry i kinda like it, the dress is beautiful, the colors a bit light for barat imo but its still beautiful and the jewelry is definitely different and so well coordinated, i love it when all the jewelry pieces are made well! btw i probably shouldnt say this (but i am anyway :D) but she presents an excellent example of why you should never go barefaced at your own mehndi/ mayoon
oh and i love her outfit for the formal mehndi, even though its so heavy you could probably pull it off for a valima with the right accessories but it still looks nice, and absolutely love the round flower covered entrance for the mehndi!

In pakistan bentleys , mercedes or other cars are not that rare , people dont lease/rent them like how they do it here in Europe or other western countries.
They simply buy them, just because pakistan unfortunatly belongs to a 3rd world doesnt mean pakistan is behing stuck in the past somewhere...! Its rare coz u dont see many of them on streets this family in the pics they own rolls royces and i personally know other families who dont have 1 but a couple of bentleys... your probably had hired one for your wedding.
But before i go off-topic , the wedding was everything except random, It was Lavish the decor was put so beautiful , so well coordinated , the groom looks mashallah i could almost say gorgeous only i am married now and noone else other then my husband imo is drop dead gorgeous to me. The bride and groom both make mashallah a very cute couple. chasm bad duhr !The pics are unfortunatly taken from a very unprofessional camera , it seems to me as if the person behind the camera had prolly bought it recently and was testing his digital camera for the very first time!lol
Mind you , the jewellery looks everything except FAke you can make out wether a set is fake from a distance, eventhough the quality of the pictures are very bad u can see how much it glitters the centre rock must be ruby set with diamonds or real pearls. The vintage/ victorian look has come out very stunning...contemporary yet very classic and traditional. You often see those common wedding jewellery most brides wear at their weddings , either a real or a fake 1 , personally a fakey is a big no to me! Its something u get from ur parents as a gift. I showed the pic to him coz i want one like this made too lol and he could say from a glimps its a real set...which was a bumper for me hehehehe
If her parents can afford to throw such a big lavishly wedding for their daughter loool then i doubt they will give her a fake set at the end to wear it with her beautiful dresses. Loved the mehndi dress most! Her dress is hot too!
Btw i know the family and i was at their wedding all 3 functions...they r so cute mashallah and loving people and if u had seen it from a close u would defint! not say meh but Wow instead!

I dont know why when brides wear such heavy , nice, mehndi joras, they still go wiht bare faces..however their skin/color/etc is, from a fashion perspective, a heavy outfit w/o any accessories or makeup just looks weird..if she was wearing a very plain, nothing type outfit (typically, a mayyoun jora), then a bare face would look OK.. but she does have a really nice set (very unique, different than what i've seen yet) and the decorations/venue look absolutely amazing....

lol, man your comment made me laugh and reminded me of my primary school days where people would show off trying to impress each other like if one would say the he/she had something the other answer'' yeah but i have one too only mine was bigger'' or something like that. I am more of a silent reader and probably not that much active like you or most of the other guppians here but almost in ever wedding thread i bumped on your name quite a lot. You seem to compare yourself a lot with others brides or brides to be and always critising others dresses , material and color, choice or taste ....to me it almost sounds like putting down others and showing off what a good taste u have bla bla bla
Sure its an openforum where every 1 are free to express their opinions, but lets be fair It is not always about you and your wedding and frankly the pictures of your wedding was mashallah very professional and you looked mashallah very cute but other then that it was nothing special! Not your dress it looked so ready made and i could name a lot more but i will stay nice. It was your most beautiful day and that is what matters but no offence it was not lavish not special i would say quite random and not to mention your engagement dress its something i would wear at a normal informal function or to wear it at someones birthdayparty.

I loved this set and had it saved as one of my favourites. Very victorian and very unique for a pakistani bride. First time I have looked in to the album futher enough to get a pic showing more of the dress. I like the colour combination, not so crazy about the work around the shirts neckline but otherwise its nice. and yes she should have definitely worn a tad bit of makeup on the mehndi in keeping with the rest of her look.

I am sorry to intrude in like this but isn't this suppose to be a bridal forum and that's what we should be talking about? Most of the people don't know each other here, it's also very hard to put across your thoughts in the right words alot of times, it's also easy to misunderstand easily what people might actually mean to say and sometimes being too blunt might hurt other peoples' feelings- considering all of that, can we not ridicule each other on their fashion sense, or not so lavish weddings or whatever that may not have pleased/impressed you so much. If you have to make a negative comment about something, try to do it in a subtle way instead of being so forthright because it DOES hurt peoples' feelings especially when it is something as important as a wedding where you go out of your way to make things go right and the last thing you want is someone slamming down things related to the most important day of your life.
Everyone has a right to their opinions yes but you also have to consider that what you say may hurt someone who's reading your comments. Instead of picking or ridiculing each other publicly like this, please do it through private messages- they are there for a reason. All this arguing, fighting just makes the people involved look bad in front of the other guppies.
