Re: BRIDAL PICS.
^ hey its not HSY - however i think it is either aisha khadeeja - original or copied.. lovely work though.
i'm sorry teelobhain if you found anything i said to be offensive. it wasn't my intent. my comments were not a personal attack. we're here to discuss clothing and that's all i meant to do=)!
And thanks fasaadi! You're very sweet=)!
No matter how rich these people are I have noticed that our Pakistani Brides are much better...these bollywood women just bath in huge ass jewelry nothing else...but if its cultural/religious thing then i am sorry...but if its a style/choice then i am sorry for them!
i don't think many people realize the worth, value, and weave of the sari she is wearing! it's very difficult to see. furthermore, you can't compare this look to the one's we're used to seeing on pakistani brides, because it is the traditional south indian hindu style (among those from karnataka, which is why aishwarya's look was so similar!). this is also a series of pics of the actual wedding ceremony. typically, they have a reception w/ several outfit changes, that the media rarely gets access to. (this is because more VIP's attend the reception than the extremely long wedding ceremony.) i feel that the outfits worn at the receptions are more in tune with the design aesthetic so many of you girls are accustomed to and like.
I don't care what the worth, value xyz of this sari is...i didn't pay for it, i haven't seen it in real and i am not as weird to go into such details about someone else's dress...i was talking about the visual over all look...which is way beyond being over the top you didn't like my comment should have kept your trap shut and ignored it rather then telling me something i don't care about! I am comparing the look which is all aesthetic not the cultures yada blada so you can't tell me not to compare...ash rai's clothes looked just as bad as hers. I don't care about how many receptions and functions they have why the hell are you even getting into all this? what is up with you? why are you taking it all so personally did any of this mention you and your choice anywhere so you should grow up and learn to respect other peoples opinions rather then thopofying yours on them! i end this conversation here since this is not an argument forum.
I think you're taking this too personally...she wasn't saying you're wrong for not liking it, she just said the style is different than what most of us are used to. Geez....I can't believe such a small comment resulted in a paragraph long lecture on your part.
You've been on this forum way to long...your eyes need to rest...check her small comment first and then interfere!
Anyone know who designed these clothes? The second outfit has colors that we’re used to seeing on nilofer shahid’s outfits, but the work & cut look more like bunto. i could be totally off though!
Re: BRIDAL PICS.
^Both are bunto.
were can u c rani??? :S
^Both are bunto.
gosh, i would never have guessed.
i was just looking at these pictures yesterday thinking that:
the shirts are practically the same, just different colours
one looks based on an HSY in terms of colour scheme and work
the other looks like nilofer for the same reasons
i seriously thought she had had some regular kaarigar or boutique make two outfits based on the two outfits i'm thinking of, because the work is totally normal up close but then i've never seen close up pics of bunto's kaam.
the only thing that made me unsure was the fabric selection.
Re: BRIDAL PICS.
^ i’m wondering the same thing … ![]()
refering to mbar’s post … where is raani’s sari? ![]()
