Congrats to the Isloo-based designer Sobia Nazir on the marriage of her brother Yasir toFatima, grand-daughter of Malik Riaz. The marriage and mehndi are to be held in Lahore, followed by a valima in Islamabad on November 4th 2009, while the mayun and before that a dholki in Isloo were held with much style and fanfare. The dholki was also a Sukhbir night with everyone twisting the night away to the pulsating beats of the turbaned crooner. But the mayun was no less eventful as Sobia, her sisters and relatives put on a great show – dancing to the choreography of dance maestro Wahab Shah. It was a star-studded affair and some of the luminaries who graced the occasion were designers Umar Saeed and Saim, Models Vinnie, Mehreen Syed and Nooray, event planners Rezz, Asimyar and Amir Mazhar, photographers Tony and Mickey.

The bride was bunto and so were the majority of the guests too. There were a lot of Sana Safinaz and Sobia Nazir dresses too, an absolutely stunning wedding.
