This is the wedding of BBC correspondent Javed Soomro and KTN presenter Dr. Nazia Memon. The bride looks BEAUTIFUL on her wedding day, but I also posted some ‘before’ pics

She looks very sophisticated even without all the makeup, quite simple. And it’s pretty much a given that most brides, if not all, look extremely different with the makeup/jewelry on their big day.

i think she was really pretty before. you are all just saying that because her skin color is lighter in the makeup pictures which is sad on your part. her cheekbones are amazing. she is so gorgeous without makeup to me.

that aside-- ofcourse makeup/a fancy outfit/jewelry will make you look different. DUH. why the surprise?

I don't think she is an ugly woman by any means! She certainly has great features. But the makeup dramatically changes her, I believe. It is not true to her skin tone (as pakifairy mentioned) and IMO doesn't necessarily stand true to who she really is.
I know every bride wants to look beautiful, but I would hope that they reflected their natural beauty versus what some MUA thinks will look best on them! I know this has been discussed many times on the boards, but this is just another example.
We all agree that she is a beautiful woman (and Mashallah look at those gorgeous eyes) I just wish I saw more of HER on her wedding day.
My father attended my male cousin's wedding in Karachi earlier this month. The day after the wedding the entire family went over the new couple's home to visit with them. The joke of the afternoon was how everyone was asking to be introduced to the "new" girl, as she was unrecognizable without loads of makeup. I chastised him for partaking in such insensitivity and he said it was all in jest but I can't imagine what the poor girl was feeling!
Hi all, I was just curious about something. I've seen pictures of brides who use makeup on their wedding day that is a lot lighter than their skin...(I'm not trying to insult anyone ...if I am im really sorry...Im just curious...)....when makeup is being applied...do they also apply it to their ears, arms, necks, hands, etc so that pictures don't come out showing a big difference in the tone of their face and other body parts?
