i wore sleeveless on my mehendi but sadly, no one in the family was shocked lol
we’re big on sleeveless 
i’m still amused at how generally in pakistani society, sleeveless ends up being more scandalous than a teeny, tiny little sari blouse that shows the entire midriff and has a deep back to boot. if the sari is sheer, you’re definitely showing more skin than just your arms.
Whatever happened to that thread about fashion faux pas?

the photographY (whcih i cant stress on enough, dont want anyone to get wrong idea) makes her resemble one of those jon-benet ramseys.... creepy enf.
^its a 10-11 year old girl (at most) dressed as a bride only for the purpose of taking a picture (i think and i hope)... (the girl could easily be as young as 8-9 year old)
(i dont think much airbrushing might have been needed, coz little kids have pretty smooth skin etc and their features and proportions are as they are in the picture)
it* is* creepy though. The girl is wearing false eyelashes, contacts, has shaped eyebrows...
and is definitely like one of those southern little beauty queens/contestants in the U.S....eeeh...i get shudders when i see those kids
and its not the photography thats making her look like this, its the make up she is wearing for her age....
(i hv seen the pic before on flickr and it was being discussed there)

^ It could very well be inspired by Bunto's work. If you look at the whole outfit...it's very busy and I've noticed that Bunto usually focusses (in terms of work) on 2 pieces rather than all 3. I could be wrong.
Also, could there be a possibility that Bunto did the wedding jora and her aunt did the rest of joras???

it does look like "inspired by bunto".... cos like janab pointed out, the kaam up close seems to be missing the finesse that bunto's kaam usually has.
Ok am i the only one who thinks this is an ok pic? She certainly does not look a preteen to me. Some people have younger looking features and they dont show their age like that whilst some of us look older than our age (
). I know of some bangladeshi friends who look so young on their wedding day just because they ARE really young or they dont show their age.
That beind said she could very well be a teenager, but a 10,11 yr old? Come on!

she has "baby hands"...although i do agree there are some bangla/indian girls who look very..very young...but she doesnt look bangla or indian to me....more like paki...and she does look 13..maaaybe 14...plus the photo is airbrushed to the max!!
