hrm, i dont know about this... turqoise lehenga and turqoise eye makeup? is that a bit much? it looks a bit much to me... maybe her eyes needed to be more sheer?
i'm not sure what to do about mine... should i do champagne with a hint of olive green or should i go technicolor, i.e. olive green with just little hits of champagne? i dont want to look like a clown, but i love olive green eyeshadow... when its done right, it looks so hawt. dammit.
in other news, my outfit is on its way!!! it should be here may 1st!! :)
Her eye makeup isnt right-her make up artist cud have done better-sorry but she cud have!:(
I do love olive green and if uve got a good make up artist(which im sure u have:) ) she'll work the colour and make it look fab. When its done well it looks brilliant.
Talk to your makeup artist about it, she'll probably have suggestions...
Lately i'm in love with the smokey eye and light lipcolor look... but I dont think that would've worked on either days for me
i was thinking i could do smokey eyes with shades of olive green and use champagne highlighter on my brow bone. BUT it is summertime and the sun won't set till around 9 and the ceremony is at 5:30. hrmm....
also i dont like the purple farshi gharara above... shiny fabric is not cool. :p
i think smokey olive eyes will look hot, go for a light lip but not too light! I'm wearing red and having a smokey brown/gold combo heavy khol and red lips but not lipsticky, more lipglossy so it looks lighter and more natural.... i have a picture from the asiana magazine that i'm going to show her, i want it re-created exactly!!!
There is a mehndi/olive look in the asian bridal book, which looks really pretty, the girl has olive and gold coloured eyeshadow and a pretty nude lip, for the staying power you'll have to go for a lipstick, but the glossy lookis so pretty... you could re-apply a eww times!!!
i wish i wasn't a computer dumbas* so i could scan the pics, but then i'd need a scanner too...sorry can't be more help!
Question for ya all. What do ya think about side swept bangs with a tikka?? Does it work??! I was considering it for my wedding. I don't think it looks too bad when the chain of the tikka is tucked under the hair with just the pendant part showing. Hopefully you guys get what i'm sayin...sorry if i'm just confusing ya. I'll try to find a pic.
^ I had that for my valima, I think it looks nice..as long as the chain of the tikka is underneath the hair, it should look nice..I'll post a pic here so u can get an idea:)
