My cousin got her valima and wedding dress froM Jabeen's recently..and that's also where I got my dresses from...Their designs are pretty good. Specially, the pouches were just adorable...It is on Tariq Road, Karachi. You should def. check it out.

plus i know a girl who got her valima dress from jabeen's i believe and it looked gorgeous , and looked like she got it made from HSY or something :D

I never really understood why people buy those plastic tinsel sehras. Fresh flowers are pretty cheap in Pakistan, and definitely look a lot better than tacky christmas decorations…

what do you think of the jhoomar with no teeka look? i actually like this bride’s jewelry, though i suspect it wouldnt look as nice if she had her dupatta on her head…

i agree..she'd look better if the dupatta was on. and her jhoomer looks a little big compared to her head or maybe thats just because there's no dupatta. hmm..the jewelery is alright..that style is a little too typical for me

it looks so odd... isnt the jhoomar also worn on the left side of the face? its like her part and her jhoomar are competing and it definitely looks wayyy too big for her face without the dupatta.

no, my mehendi outfit was more gold because i look washed out in yellow, with accents of mehendi green, turqoise and red.
my wedding outfit was champagne and tan with accents of green, ivory, gold, silver, and rust.
they were two completely different looks.

i also love that the look is not exclusively "mehendi" so i can wear it to weddings and other occasions too... also why i love my wedding outfit because its not obviously bridal so i can wear it lots.
