I love that shaadi dress…especially the top with the shaluka jacket over it…so elegant!
I didn’t know HSY did such traditional/classical looking dresses…his look seems to be a lot more modern. Just from looking at it, I would have guessed that it had to be Faiza Samee/Bunto Kazmi/Nilofar Shahid…

Karmas dresses start from 80 thousand to 1 Lakh...and go higher.

I know a couple of people who bought their wedding joras from Karma...theyre definitely very nice, but I think I like what I've seen from Faiza Samee & HSY better. Personally, I tend to find Karma's designs to be a little too bright/bold for my taste...but that's really just a matter of personal preference. The quality of the fabric/work itself I'd say is comparable to HSY, but not quite at the same level as Faiza Samee's work.

Faiza Samee is a designer based in Karachi…she was one of the first real high end designers in Pakistan. She’s really famous for the work she’s done in preserving historical embroidery styles that were about to die out…she actually tracked down the specific gharanas of kaarigars who had passed down these techniques in their families for centuries and brought them to her workshops so they could train other embroiders.
She mostly does custom made, one of a kind pieces for her clients…she designed Benazir Bhutto’s wedding dress, and even has some of her work in European museums as authentic replications of Mughal and Nawabi era attire…

Yeah…the price range is pretty much the same.
I don’t think I’ve seen anything from Jabeen’s (at least that I know of…)

Faiza Samee's clothes are a lot more expensive.
I haven't actually shopped for bridal wear in a long time, but I've heard from friends that an HSY bridal outfit will start at around 160-200,000 rupees...and more if you actually want to meet him and have him design something especially for you. When my sister had Faiza Samee do her wedding jora six years ago, they ran more than twice that much...

i prefer Karma over both HSY and Faiza Samee... theres something really consistent and fresh about their work that HSY and Faiza Samee only hit occasionally, i find. with karma, i like almost every outfit from their collection... with other designers its usually one or two pieces... since i wouldn't actually spend 1000's on an outfit, i had a Karma knock off for my mehendi gharara :) i also really like Zara Shahjahan.
but in the end, its all personal preference anyway.
