No they are not related. The first bride shared her mehndi function with her sister in law, who was dressed in a very different outfit

TOO CUTE! i am loving the royal blue dress/outfit but the dupatta setting is off. oh well, she’s a lovely bride nonetheless!

Yes n7111 you are rite. the second bride's wedding was held in march 2012 whereas the first bride was got married in july 2011. but the second bride was quite impressed by the first bride so she copied her almost everything in her mehndi.
