Tbh, even if long shirts aren't in fashion when I get married I'm still getting one made simply because I know I'll be able to re-wear the kameez with pants/churidaar. Short shirts become pretty much obsolete unless you wear the whole get up - which can look a tad OTT.
That's exactly what I'm doing. I've got a very long short being made because I fell in love with the style and hated short shirts because personally find they don't really suit that many people. My weddings not till next year which may be when long shirts go out of fashion. To cut a long story short make whatever you want regardless of the fashion. It's YOUR day so wear something that you will love not what the fashion states!
True, but personally I love regal/old-school kind of looks (heirloom jewelry/Bunto jora etc) so I'd avoid looking trendy b/c I want to look timeless.
I wore a long shirt on my wedding even though longer shirts weren't really hot at that point. They became a huge trend right after that but for my body type I wanted a longer shirt.
It makes no difference what the trend is...you need to follow your body type.
OMG! The difference colours make - this is such a good example. i really disliked the red version and love the blue - didn’t even realise they’re the same thing! Blue looks so much more elegant.
I am sure the lighting and quality of photos also impacts the look… But the red looks so BUSY in comparision!
