I think that’s lovely.
IMO sleeveless is a contemporary/modern look; I think it would suit the designer saree you posted more than the traditional one you have. if you want to go traditional but still keep your head uncovered, jewelery like in teh picture you posted above will be nice. You can always do cap sleeves, get a much lighter haar and a small necklace + big earrings iwth the saharay, and a classic updo.
