After looking through thousands of pictures, countless websites and visiting shops, I’ve finally come down to the lengha for my shaadi. Problem is that the bottom is very heavy and is weighed down quiet a bit, making it look as if it’s
" hanging " on me.
I’m given an underskirt when the outfit is done but I feel I need more support. Does anyone have experience with bridal petticoats under lengha or can
give me some insight on what to do?

Y could get yourself a heavily pleated short shalwar thing made to wear under the petticoat, just up the length required for the hang to fall.
My lenga was also very heavy at the bottom, so someone told me to wear a thin short shalwar under it, it sounds really funny, but it worked. And it was short so it couldnt b seen by anyone!

erm i think its meant to give that look.. hanging... u dont want it to poof out. my lehnga was very heavy but that is what the designer said, that its supposed to hug and hang off of u...

u shud have thick lining made with ur lenga, thats the best, not a seperate item xx

Khawateen - I know some lehengas are meant to be hanging, but mine is not of that model.
