i think french luks so horrible and bad specially on a bride! da bride is supposed to luk colourful...and french jst mess up the whole outfit and make up..it jst dnt match with anythng...besides that french nails gve me sum unhgyienic feeling.. feels sooo disguisted ....buwhahahaa
Hunny if ur nails feel unhygeinic, u should quit digging into crap... and wash ur hands..:(.

i agree. i had french nails at my valima, and red at the shaadi. the red didn't look bad or anything... but i just liked the way the french manicure looked with my valima dress... teal colored nails looked awwwwwful.. yuck!

Oh, with colored nails, i think "girley" colors (like to match the lipstick) look nice, teal green blue nails etc are just hideous for shadi!

lol.. my mom pushed really hard for me to NOT go the french manicure route for the valima... she felt it wasn't "dulhan" enough... :)

Wow -- your color combo sounds very close to mine (my green was more like apples)! I did red nails, but if you don't want that then I would definitely get a french manicure (I had that at my mangni). It looks lovely and very elegant and works with anything.

i don't know bout islamabad but i have friends in lahore n they said u can get it done there, i asked the same question coz i am getting married in oct but haven't been pak since 2004 too lol
btw i don't know exactly where u get them done from!!
my friend said she'll take me when i come which is good enough for me =)
