I saw pictures of this bride and she had stick on (I’m assuming) stones on her mehndi.

Is that a new trend now? Have you girls seen mehndi like that before? Its quite pretty.

that is diamante , if u don't have sensitive skin then go for it, though honestly I only noticed because it was the title of ur thread.

yes u could try eyelash glue since I've read here it's used for tikkas as well.

Ooo interesting. I'm having my wedding in December so I was thinking of doing something like this, but I wouldn't want to go over board with them because then it just looks tacky...

Its better than glitter mehndi, I hate that stuff with a passion!

Ash Kumar does a lot of work with stones. This looks like his work:


Not a major fan of Ash Kumar’s work generally. He makes pretty outlines but his intricate designs are just awful - loads of moti moti lines to fill in, and then he just dips the hand in glitter.

I don’t think the stones thing is a ‘trend’ per se, in the sense that I don’t think there are mehndi ‘trends’ in any way. People just put mehndi on - some like it heavy, others (like me) like it light, but I don’t think it changes with fashion; certainly not at the same rate as clothes. These pictures with the stone mehndi for example, I first saw at least six years ago - who knows when they was first taken…

yea u can get stick on diamnates or i bought this really nice glitter mehndi from the uk, it only comes off if u wash ur hand, but otherwise it looks really nice...
