to be honest... i'm not familiar with salons in lahore.. I've seen horrible results but i don't know where they got it done from! I don't know which place is "cheap" or which is "high class". I don't even know the names that have mentioned !! I don't live in Pakistan and am not familiar with the "trends" there. My wedding is scheduled for the end of this year... that's why i wanted to know which place would have the best results...

why don't u go and get trial makeup done. i also heard by some ppl that when u go tou check out which place is good they will show u pics of brides they have done, that will give u an idea.
but no personal experience, those are all the things ppl told me.
but i really like the idea of getting trial makeup done.

hey, i've been watchin this program on prime tv and they went to almost all the bridal make-up places in lahore. To be honest some of them wz really good and the result was mindblowing. The ones u shud check out: Athar shezad, New look, This saloon called Madiha (or its the owners name) and Alle Nora.

Korisn Check out depilex, madiha’s, allenora etc… in fact, if it’s possible, get a bridal magazine from Pak, such as You and Brides or En Style.. they feature lots of ads for beauty parlours.. ive been buying those magazines once a year for abt three yrs now n each time, they have ads for allenora, depilex, madihas , new look etc.. also, if u have any relatives in Pak , ask them whats gud (unless they’re the ones who look like atta-faces!! )

yea tell me about it, my cousin got her make up done for the rukhsati from this really fancy and supposedly highclass place. and the owner had her head all up in the skies and i thought it would be good. but my cousin looked like a cartoon, it was just waste of money and time

i think u should go to sum fashion sites and check out the models' pics there..sumtimes they do tell the salon name n stuff
especially on Jang.com.pk..the mag fashion..dont look at Jang Fashion..go to Mag Jang Fashion..thats much better!

yea i dunno if the first one is done by them.

if wedding makeup is anything like prom makeup then you have to go to the makeup person with an idea of what you want to look like. My sister did it the “i’m wearing pink so make me look princessy” way and she ended up changing her makeup when she got home. I KNEW that i wanted cat eyes and paleish lips and minimum blush because after 2 years of wearing makeup regularly i know what colours look good on me and what don’t. Anyways, i took my sister and my friend along because they share the EXACT same taste in makeup as me so they could correct the stupid lady doing my makeup. :cb: It worked cuz the girl wasnt putting any eyeliner on me(and i look like a chug without eyeliner) and my sister/friend were forcing her to put more on.
