Bridal Makeup

:offtopic:
the last pic - of the bride in the multi- couloured dupatta - I have seen that pic on so many makeup artist’s websites, when I first started looking for a decent makeup artist I naively believed that the pics on their websites or part of their online portfolio were pics of brides they had made-over themselves. However unless that pic was a collaborative effort by at least 4 international (and counting) make up artists I think its fair to say there is a teeny tiny copyright issue going on…:stuck_out_tongue:

But anyway - back on topic - all these brides look beautiful!

Love Makeup! Of course in moderation :-p

Re: Bridal Makeup

all these poel have beautiful noses, so unfair

How do I find this shade of lipstick/gloss. I’ve looked everywhere…!

Hi Your President,

For us south asians to achieve that shade with only a lipgloss or lipstick is quiet to difficult (depending on complexion). So what I recommend you to do is to first create neutral lips as a base for the lipgloss/lipstick.
This is what you do:

  1. Use a chapstick of your choice.

  2. Choose a base, such as a creamy concealer or a " neutral " lipstick
like MAC Fleshpot. Apply it and then pat around your lips to soften and
    even it out.

  3. Then finally apply the pale pink lipstick or lipgloss. I normally use
    MAC California Dreamin.

And here’s my result:

Hope that helps somewhat

Re: Bridal Makeup

is that you? great mouth, lady! good job on the lipgloss too.

Has anyone decided on their makeup for the wedding yet?

I’m in the middle of experimenting. I like Shriya Saran’s eyemakeup
here:

I might do my eyes this way for the nikah, but different colours.
Not too fond of the lipgloss though. Too much bubblegum-barbie- like.

Re: Bridal Makeup

^i agree about the lip gloss. the eye makeup is nice though, very do-able

Re: Bridal Makeup

If you have a nice face and it looks good, trust me you dont need to pay hundreds to look good! =) but yea i would suggest getting foundation that is correct, avoid to much cake!

I agree, foundation is one of the most important things to get right. Same thing with blush, sculpting
and eyelashes.
I'm actually doing my own makeup, I know what I like and how to do it.

wow ur doing ur own make on wat ur wedding day?

Re: Bridal Makeup

does any one know of any gud makeup artists in london?

On all of my days. Speaking of which, haven’t decided my walimah makeup yet
though I’ve decided on my eye makeup for my wedding day.
I did a trial on myself yesterday:

that looks very good
