I got my bridal makeup done by Ather Shahzad and I wasn't 100% happy... i think my wedding pic is on this forum sumwhere. From memory, he charged approx 12,000Rs. If I was to get married all over again, I prolly wont choose him.

I went to Alle Nora they did it really good.....and I paid 11,000 for my wedding...and on my nikkah I paid 7,000 for the nikkah package and the girl did it really really good.....

Could you please tell me the name of the person and also if you got it done in Lahore or Karachi. I would greatly appreciate it as I am still shopping around looking for the right makeup artist. I've heard many things about Alle Nora and that they do "wonders",,, is this correct??? Also if you could would you be able to send me any sample pictures of her dulhans or the work that she has done, I know you would probably mind sending me your own pics of the makeup you had done, but if its of no problem to you, plzzzzz do. I got my makeup done from Lahore and i went in around 1pm and she got us ready by 5pm....it doesn't really take that long....but they do a lot of touching up so its as perfect as possible....they also make ur hair and set ur dupatta in that time.....The girls name I forgot but I kind of remember what she looks like....also Annie the owner does a wonderful job....so u can get it done from her if u want. I will ask my sis what her name was and get back to u....and I am not sure abt pics....

I'm Just curious.... Does anyone know how the makeup artists in Pakistan or any make artist for instance make the brides lips looking so much fuller. I've seen pictures with Dulhans who have really good make up and their lips have a really nice shape to them. I'm really hoping they have some technique to make them look that way, cuz I naturally have a thin upper lip and therefore not much of a shape to it. Do they have anyways to enhance your lips when brides get their bridal makeup done??? Any comments and people who have gotten bridal makeup done before if you can share your experience plz do share or anyone who can answer my questions. Your comments would be much appreciated.

Speaking from what I've learned from my friends, one of the best ways to make your lips look fuller is to use a good lipbrush when applying lipcolor to your lips. Basically, if you feel your lips are thin:
1) Apply lip liner just slightly outside the edges of your lips
2) Fill lips lightly with lip liner
3) Take lip and lipstick. Do not apply lipstick directly to lips. Use lipbrush to put color on your lips.
4) Use lipbrush to get the color from the lipstick, then apply color on lips in vertical strokes to both top lip and bottom lip.
For a fuller look, use light, glossy colors. Don't use dark matte colors. Good luck! And try a google search for lipstick application tips for more info.

Im just worried, cos i want abit natural looking makeup, i dont want that powdery finish either, which i see alot…im not sure, im not who wears alot of heavy make-up so im not 100% know what the right look would suit me, so hence i would be more comfortable with someone who is reputable…
Does anyone know the best caterers in lahore who do decor too…? ive got no idea! plus i need a couple of names so that when i go for two weeks to pakistan i can quickly book!
i got such a shock today…Gold is so expensive…I just started to look for my set today…£2grand £5 grand…sets…crazy …but beautiful…ive heard from quite a few people that karachi is better for jewellery than lahore…

hi everyone!..i am finally in lahore for my wedding!...and made a quick tour to Allenora, newlook and Madeehas saloon.
I am sharing the info. here..hope u guys find it useful!
Allenora = 14000 for baraat, 13000 for walima...
in this amount they would only do ur makeup ,dupatta setting, jewellery setting, false eyelashes. if u book for baraat u will also get one free face polish sitting. and that's it!!!
for everything else u will have to pay extra! ...from facials, waxing, mehndi to nails and even the nail color!!......mehndi is between 2000 - 4000 with glitter...and 1200 to 3000 without glitter (amount depends on how much area u want covered)..so i am guessing that overall u wud be paying something around 20,000+ something at allenora..if u want everything done!
I asked about Annie....they say if u want entire makeup by annie...the basic makeup amount of 14000 will become 30,000 :p...

Hira- what size do you get in the enlargement when you say enlarged pictures? It may not be such a bad deal as each 6x8 costs rs 80 and 8x10 costs rs 140 to get enlarged in Pakistan.

Hey guys....I was wondering if anyone has had their bridal makeup done at Depilex recently? I am not from Lahore and will be getting married there, in the near future. I've heard of all these salons (madeehas, new look, depilex, alle nora) but am feeling quite confused. Which one have you guys heard good things about?
