all the new brides to be ...first of all congratulations!
i got married last year and i got ready from shamain...i wanted the traditional makeup look and she is an expert in doing heavy eyes...the only problem i had was that i got a litttle late so make sue you guys get there in time....she used to work from her home but now i kno for sure she has opened her new salon on zamzama ....i would have posted the number but then im in canada...ummm if u guys just go to zamzama ..ask anyone there....
i researched alot in makeup.....and my sister got ready from shaheen saeed she is pretty good too...her salon is at zamzama too..anyone looing for a nice subtle look iw ould definetly recommend Asad baig his number is 5863190 or Mubasshir(he used to work with tariq amin)...Asad baig is in phase V defence..close to ideal bakery...ask anyone there

i m getting married by the end of this yr :) yup everythin is fixed now...umm yeah i saw shamain's make-up and i luved it...btu i dun wanna go for traditional look ... i wana go for very heavy/seductive eye make up, u know the wet and metallic kind but light lipstick and great contouring for my nose and yup blush too...i dunno if u can understnad what i m tryin to say...lol...i m not good at explaining things...lol...so if u can plz provide me with shamains telephone number or address and munna mushtaq's contact number ill really appreciate it..btw i m from canada too...hehe:)

^Yup all of that is pretty standard.
hmmmm-- the only thing is to be careful about the metallic looking make-ups, because they usually reflect grey tones and can make you look washed out and colorless.

Hey Sana,
I just want to let you know that who ever you decide to get your makeup done by just make sure you get it booked atleast 6 months in advance. Some of the better parlours like Nabila's and Shaheens want you to book atleast 6 months in advance. and make sure you are on time because if you are not then they will start on someone else and leave u to the end. I was like 5 minutes late to the parlour and they got me ready at the very end. These parlours always double book. during my nikah day they had two other people booked besides me. i wish you best of luck with everything and hope that everything works out well for you.

I am just glad i could help. sometimes the beauticians tell you that they will have you ready by a certain time and they usually don't. this has happened to me so its just to let you know. and make sure that get your mehndi done atleaset two days before the wedding so you can have time to have some nice color on it. and once you have your mehndi on and once it starts drying have someone make a paste of sugar and water and put it on your hands and feet for you from time to time. and actually vaseline is even better. it makes your mehndi come out really nice and the color really dark. i hope these tips can be some help to you. they are helpful for me.

Yeah Sarah I plan on getting my mehndi done a few days in advance. I don't like the whole arm length mehndi. It looks too icky to me :-s So I am just going to get my hands done and a bit on my feet since you can't see the feet anyways haha!
Just FYI for ladies who are getting married in Khi:
Cistre at Sheraton - bridal package is around 20K
Mahrose - bridal package is ~ 10K
Laiqa Hasan - bridal package is around 20K
I called the above salons to ask about the packages and how much I have to pay in advance. I am planning on going to Laiqa's for rukhsati day (they did my engagement make up & I was quite satisfied) and Cistre for Valima (thanks to Sahar :-))

wish i could provide u the numbers..but ummm u know what u can do....i know for sure his place is on zamzama...and i know he has this special package with Mahrose Beauty Parlour the one that is in zamzama go to them ask them abt their package with Munna mushtaq get his number...call him...shamain is excellent with eyes...reallly really good...
i would def. recommend her...
and for chohti...i got my makeup done from Asad Baig jeez that guy has been in business even before i was born....hes such a good makeup artist....really if u r looking for a valima makeup go to him....
