Hey,
I can be okay with even a layer of makeup on as long as it looks natural. You have to be really careful because only those who know the art of makeup won't make it look cakey. GO TO SHAHEEN'S. ..and make ur own personal requests. From what I've heard, Shaheen's in Karachi is really good where u're concerned.

I had my Valima reception in Karachi last year; and got my makeup done by "Shaheen's" (there are two locations of Shaheen's) I can't recall which one i went to since i'm not familiar with karachi that well.
What I really liked about my makeup was the base, it looked natural. The only problem i came across was with the pinning of the dupatta...the lady just couldn't figure out how and what to do with it (mad wala icon here)
Anyhow, I was initally planning on going to SAB'S but changed my mind:( and I wish I HADN'T because lately i've personally came across pictures of brides and when i ask "where did you go for your makeup" I get "Sab's"
I wanted to :(
I would strongly recommend Sab's from the makeup i've seen done on brides; it's very well done!! and believe me cuz i can tell;)
P.S. I've also heard alot that Sab's is "IT" compared to "shaheen's" right now.

I will send you my pics and Nabila's is located in the Park Towers Mall in Clifton on the very top floor and before they start your makeup they will ask you how you want it done. they usually dont cake it on. It looks very natural. You can choose from either Altaf or Bushra.

Another recommendation from me:
Laiqa Hassan - I think her salon is at Clifton I'm not sure since I'm not familiar with Khi. I did ask the lady to do evening make up so she did not thopify me with white stuff and it looked nice. I'm planning ongoing there again for my rukhsati or valima or both :)

Depilex is very good at makeup. Its located on Tariq Road.
Then there is Rose beauty parlour and also Mahroze. They are quite known in Karachi too. This bride's makeup is done by depilex.
