Hey guys,

I tried looking for an up to date thread on Makeup artists in the UK but didn’t really find anything, most threads were from years ago.

So I wanted to know any MUAs you would recommend here in London or the rest of the UK, someone whose work you’ve seen.

I know of quite a few artists, but I’ve read threads on some how they are snotty, or they do make up to simple, or too much and sometimes they have some good pics on their instagram but some really bad ones and a lot look edited at times. So any real reviews would be helpful.

I know of Dil, Annie Shah, Ambreen, Lubna Rafiq, Anam is in London now, Bina Khan (I’ve heard she does brides in London as well) oh and Zukreat.

So it would be great if people could give reviews on these people and any other artists you may know of.

Not a fan of Anam's makeup (seen it in real life) so I wouldn't recommend her.
I emailed Zukreat a couple of weeks ago for my own bridal makeup but she didn't respond. I don't think she's doing bridal makeup at the moment as she's busy with her company.
Bina Khan didn't respond to my email and there's no telling when she's in the UK. You'd have to go to her salon as I don't think she'll come to you for bridal makeup. But good luck with getting a response from her.

Alternatively you could get someone to do makeup like BeautyByAisha or DreamingDahliaa, and do hair separately with someone like HairByRuksar?

There's so many MUA these days.
The few whose work I hae seen are Humera Mehrban, Iram Butt, Roobia Din

I had mine done from Ambreen Ahmed. Loved how flawless it looked and not cakey at all - I was adamant i didn't want heavy makeup or a cakey look and hers isn't, and she really listens to you.
